Obituary of Joyce Lindeman

Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Lindeman are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 19, 2019, at Cherry Ridge Baptist Church with Bro. Cecil Gregory and Bro. Dennis Hackler officiating. Interment will follow in Mer Rouge Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. service time at the church.

Mrs. Lindeman, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Monday, July 15, 2019, at the age of eighty-five. She was a member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church in Bastrop, and was a retiree of Safeway. Mrs. Lindeman enjoyed playing and singing in a “Southern Gospel” band that  performanced at churches, nursing homes, and anywhere else that was requested. 

She is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, Johnnie Lindeman; daughters, Brenda Johnson and husband Mike, Donna Gail Schneider and husband Clint; sons, Ronnie Raymond and wife Ellen, Johnnie Lindeman, Jr. and wife Kelly; grandchildren, Josh Raymond and wife Amber, Jeremy Raymond and wife Sara, Jonathan Raymond and wife Kellie, Erik Johnson and wife Courtney, Jordan Schneider, Paige Schneider and husband Devin, Hope Lindeman; and eight great grandchildren.

Mrs. Lindeman is preceded in death by her parents, Orville B. Dunn and Cora Dunn.

Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Raymond, Jeremy Raymond, Jonathan Raymond, Erik Johnson, Andy Crymes, and Ricky Hutson.
