Obituary of Catherine Farrar

Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine Farrar, age 86, are scheduled for 10 AM Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Golden Funeral Home with Rev. Garry Massey officiating. Interment will follow in Geddie/Rawls Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 7 PM Tuesday, August 13 at Goldens.

Mrs. Farrar, a resident of Bastrop, LA, and former resident of Crossett, AR, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2019  in Bastrop, LA. She was born March 27, 1933 in Beekamn, LA to Clem B. and Minnie Harris Middlebrooks. She worked as a waitress for many years in Crossett, AR.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Catherine Rice-Farrar of West Monroe, LA; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Mrs. Farrar is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas “Tom” Morris Farrar.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ray Middlebrooks, Roger Dale Middlebrooks, Jimmie Dean Kinney, Keith Fox, Scottie Fox and Greg Griswould.
