I am so very sorry to learn about the passing of Donice. I got to know her when the boys were in elementary school and she asked me to tutor them for a while. She was a very caring mother who sought the best for her children.
Please know I will be thinking of all of you and praying for your peace as you move forward.

To the Turnbow family,
Thoughts and prayers for ya'll during this difficult time.Ms Donice was a ray of sunshine in the Mer Rouge Apts. The last time I seen her I cooked her some grits while she was visiting with Sharon and waiting on Michelle to come back. She was still smiling then..I know now she is whole cancer free and pain free.God wrap your loving arms around this family and give them peace and understanding as only you can.To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.Love to you all..

My sincere sympathy to Donice’s family. I had known Donice for many years and enjoyed her friendship. She was a blessing to me while helping to care for my husband during his illness and at the time of his death. Always fond memories of her.

To the Turnbow Family,
It was clear, Donice loved her family and friends more than anything else in the world. She spoke of you often.
I remember how much she loved to chat on the phone and stay connected with everyone she cared about.
A fun memory I have of Donice is stopping with her to buy "scratch offs". I never knew anyone who won as frequently as she did. Her luck was amazing. I would have her pick my tickets and scratch them in hopes of her luck rubbing off. She always won something.
She showed her faith in little ways such as this verse she kept by the phone.
"Above all, love each other deeply,
Because love covers over a multitude of sins".
1 Peter 4:8
I remain forever grateful for the loving care she gave my dad. She holds a special place in my heart.
I pray for comfort and peace for you during this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Kimberly Franklin
