Obituary of Zelda Webb

Funeral services for Mrs. Zelda Carolyn McGrew Webb are scheduled for 11 AM, Monday, September 23, 2019 at Bonita Road Baptist Church with Bro. Andy Myrick and Bro. Casey Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery, under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. 

Mrs. Webb passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2019, at the age of eighty-seven.  She was a member of Bonita Road Baptist Church.  She was a very soft-spoken, Christian lady, the best mother in the world, and a great cook.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George McGrew.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Webb; daughter, Brenda Myrick and husband Bro. Andy, of Bastrop; son, Danny McGrew, and wife Cindy, of Bastrop; sister, Louise Martin, of Tallhassee, FL, grandchildren, Ladonna Smith, and husband Mark, and Casey McGrew, and wife April; great-grandchildren, Caroline Smith, Kalie Smith, and Zoe McGrew.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be Casey McGrew, Mark Smith, DeWayne Jordan, Ronald Oden, Ricky McGrew, Paul Jones Jr., and Mike Tubbs.  Honorary pallbearers are J.W. Knighten, Maxie Norsworthy, Rusty Gene, Mike Brown, and all the members of the Tillou Hunting Club.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, from 3 PM until 5 PM, at Goldens, and again on Monday, from 10 AM until 11 AM service time.
