Obituary of Pauline Gabbert Hammond

A celebration of life for Ms. Pauline Gabbert Hammond, age 75, will be held at 12 noon Sunday, October 13, 2019, at Chemin-a-haut State Park. 

Ms. Hammond, a homemaker, passed away July 4, 2019 at Seneca Health and Rehab in Seneca, SC. She enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, spending time with family and friends and she loved Elvis. Ms. Hammond was born June 19, 1944 to Ollie Lee and Lawrence Shedd.

She is survived by her son, Ken Williams and wife Clara of SC; daughter, Sherry Gabbert of Bastrop; grandsons, Jon Kilcrease and wife Jennifer of AR, DeSean Williams, Noah Williams, both of SC, and Jonah Williams and wife Mashayla of MO; three granddaughters, Hannah Buffington of Bastrop, Destiney Williams of SC, Martha  Williams of OK; several great grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Ms. Hammond is preceded in death by her parents, Ollie Lee and Lawrence Shedd; her  husband, Earnie Hammond; father of her children, Jim Gabbert; brothers, Curtis Shedd, Melvin Shedd, Alvin Shedd; and sisters, Betty Pearson and Judy Sims.
