Obituary of Bobby Glen Sharp

Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Glen Sharp are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 19, 2019, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Wooden officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. service time.

Bobby was born November 12, 1938 and he passed away on October 14, 2019 at the age of eighty. He was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church and retired Brick Mason. Mr. Bobby loved hunting and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-one years, Dorothy. Children: Claude Sharp and wife Penny of Bastrop, David Sharp and wife Deborah of Epps, Scott Sharp and wife Stephanie of Minden and Brandi Blakely and husband Greg of Bastrop. Grandchildren: Brad, Holly, Kathy, Matthew, Steven, Tyler, Melinda, Caitlyn, Adam, MaKenzee, William, Zack and Caleb. Great Grandchildren: Macy, Hunter, Brady, Spartan, Gracelyn, Gentry, and Aiden. One brother, Larry and a host of nieces and nephews. Special friends Ted and Debra Farrar, Marie Ray, Tony and Sue Smith.

Preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Myrtle Sharp; his brothers, Frankie and Ray; sister-in-law, Faye; and grandchildren, Sean and Lorelai.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care, and Ylonda Jons and Ella Griggs of Supreme Home Health.
