Obituary of Irene "Elaine" Johnson

Funeral services for Mrs. Irene “Elaine” Johnson, age 73, are scheduled for 10 AM Friday, November 1, 2019 at Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Hawthorne officiating. Interment will follow in Redwing Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 PM until 7 PM Thursday, October 31, 2019.

Mrs. Johnson, a member of Greenacres Baptist Church, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2019. She loved her family, her sons and grandchildren were her whole life.

She is survived by her sons, Roderick Johnson and wife Sandy and Martin Martinez; step-daughters, Myra Johnson, Penny Johnson, and Krystal Frisby and husband Jamie; step-son, Michael Johnson and wife Kristin; grandchildren, Brent Johnson, Emma Johnson, Jessica Rankin, Brandon Johnson, Susan Emily Custer, Ashley Burton, Mandy Moore, Maci Johnson, Ryland Johnson, Jeweli Johnson, Leah Johnson, Savannah Frisby, Colby Frisby, Mason Frisby and numerous grandchildren she adopted; great grandchildren, Mason Johnson, Maddox Johnson, Gabriella Custer, Ainsley Ragland and Kamden Ragland.

Mrs. Johnson is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Robert L. Johnson; son, Robert Lamar Johnson; sister, Gloria Pruitt; great grandson, Hayden Ragland.

Serving as pallbearers will be, Brent Johnson, Michael Johnson, Don Collins, Jr., Ricky Jackson, Jr., Blake Bunch, Maverick Jaggers and Kane Williams.
