Funeral services for Mr. James Harlon Williams are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 2, 2019, at North Baptist Church of God with Rev. David Sistrunk officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. service time Saturday at the church.

Mr. Williams, a resident of Bastrop, LA and member of North Bastrop Church of God, he was born January 24, 1935 in Mangham, LA and he took his journey home Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at the age of eighty-four. He attended school and graduated from Bonita High School. He also graduated from BMI. Harlon loved his Savior, his church, and church family. He retired from DOTD where he was an Engineer Specialist 2, and loved his job very much. Mr. Williams thoroughly enjoyed fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Williams; daughter, LeiLani Grace “Gracie” Stickland and husband Michael; son, Todd Williams and wife Kris; uncle, Gene Williams; grandchildren, Amanda and husband Mike, Chandlor, Dianna and husband Jon, Samantha, Khloe and husband Dillon, Emma, and Abigail; and thirteen great grandchildren.

Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Grace Williams; and aunt, Audrey Williams.

Serving as pallbearers will be Gabril Reynolds, Mark Sistrunk, Mike Sistrunk, Adam Sistrunk, Albert Martin, and Steve Sistrunk.
