Uncle Charles, what an amazing man you were! I am blessed to have been able to call you my uncle and to have spent many a hour talking with you when we were fortunate enough to be together. I will never forget watching you open the door to take Susie out only to hear you holler, “SUSIE!!” as soon she she had made it out the door. I also laugh every time I think about the time I watched you check to see if your battery was dead on your old Ford truck by laying a wrench across the two battery terminals. I remember looking at my son who was there with us and told him that is not how you check a battery! You will truly be missed but your love for us will not be forgotten!
