Obituary of Robert "Bob" Crymes

Funeral services for Mr. Robert “Bob” Crymes are scheduled for 10 AM, Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Bonita Baptist Church, Bonita, LA, with Bro. John White and Bro. Kenneth Ronaghan officiating. Interment will follow in the La-Ark Cemetery. There will be a visitation time Friday night from 5 - 9 PM at Bonita Baptist Church. Mr. Crymes, a retired farmer and resident of Bonita, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Oak Woods Home For The Elderly, at the age of eighty-five. He had been a member of the Bonita Baptist Church for over thirty-years. He loved Gospel music and sang with the Holly Ridge Boys and Thelma for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Zula and Jim Crymes, as well as four brothers and three sisters. Survivors include his wife of sixty-four years, Linda Crymes; daughters, Brenda Crymes and Bobbie Crymes; sons, Bub Crymes, and wife Lisa, Butch Crymes, and wife Sarah, and Pete Crymes, and wife Anne; sister, Joan Bryan, and husband Fred; brothers, Art Crymes, and wife Shirley and Roy Crymes, and wife Paulette; grandchildren, Amy Bryan, Aaron Crymes, Amber Robinson, Crystal Barmore, Matthew Crymes, Nick Crymes, Mark Crymes, Ashton Chop, and Kye Crymes; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Serving the family as pallbearers will be grandsons Aaron Crymes, Matthew Crymes, Nick Crymes, Mark Crymes, Kye Crymes, and Gage Crymes.
