Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Rosie Turner are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at Red Wing Cemetery with Bro. Taylor Freeland officiating.
Mrs. Turner was born July 26, 1943 and passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020, at the age of seventy-six. She was a resident of Bastrop, LA, and a member of Collinston Assembly of God. Mrs. Turner loved her family very much and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also loved gardening and tending to her rose bushes.
Mrs. Turner is survived by her husband, James Turner; daughters, Cindy Swayze and husband Byron, Linda Nelson and husband Timmy, Rita Stanley and husband Kary, Sandra Dement and husband Ronald; grandchildren, B.J. Swayze, Erick Turner, Tad Stanley, Shane Swayze, and T.J. Nelson; great grandchildren, Addisyn Turner, Josh Turner, Kennedy Swayze, Kolt Swayze, Calyx Swayze, Maddie Grace Deere, and Weston Middlebrooks.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Willie Mae LeBrun; brothers, Ed LeBrun, “Pee Wee” LeBrun; and sister, Polly Boyte.
Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons, B.J., Erick, Tad, Shane, T.J., and sons-in-law, Byron, Timmy, Kary, and Ronald.
