Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Chappell are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 11, 2020, at Hillview Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Culp officiating. Interment will follow in Mer Rouge Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Saturday prior to the service beginning at 10:00 A.M.
Mrs. Chappell, a resident of Bastrop, LA and member of Hillview Freewill Baptist Church, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020, at the age of eighty-six. She leaves behind her daughter, Dale Ford; and grandchildren, Meredith Martin, Kelley Franklin, Shane Clement, and Amber Clement.
Mrs. Chappell is preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Chappell; sons, Scotty Chappell and Carl Chappell; one daughter, Loretta Clement; and grandson, Bobby Clement, Jr.
