Funeral services for Mrs. Kay R. Warren, age 76, of Bastrop, LA are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2020 at the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Revs. JoAnne Pounds and Jerry Stuckey officiating. Interment will follow in the Mer Rouge Cemetery.
Mrs. Warren was a member of Mer Rouge Methodist Church. She was an avid golfer, and die hard New Orleans Saints fan. She was a retired employee of 26 years at the ARC of Morehouse where she was currently serving as a board member. She was also employed at Lois Style Shop in Bastrop and Flair’s Jewelers in Monroe.
Mrs. Warren is survived by her daughter, Amy Musgrove; special niece, Teri Guess, and her beloved Ally cat.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George Warren; sons, Brodie M. Musgrove and Chris Musgrove; sister, Janet Akin: parents, Brodie and Nigel Risinger; and beloved Schnauzer, Gussie.
Serving as pallbearers are: Jamie Leshe, Marley Oldham, David Bass, Buddy Blackwell, Ronnie Day, and Dickie Blackwell.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2020 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Golden Funeral Home.
