Funeral services for Mr. Kent W. Caskey, age 83, of Bastrop, LA, are scheduled for 3 p.m. Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at Central Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Britt Dupree and Dr. Vic Carter officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until service time at the church. Interment will be held at a later date at the Parkdale Cemetery, 701 S. Mary St. Arlington, Texas, under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Caskey, a retired warehouseman of 28 years at Amway Corporation and U.S. Army veteran, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020. He was a member of Central Missionary Baptist Church and taught bible study for many years at Lagnaippe Health Care. He was a true and faithful servant of God. In his spare time he also enjoyed bowling with his wife Kate. Mr. Caskey is survived by his wife, Kate Bell Caskey; step daughters, Cynthia Green and husband Gary of Homer, LA, Jeannette Logan and husband Jerry of Bastrop, LA, Patricia K. Warren and husband Richard of Rayville, LA, Shirley Orene McDonald and husband David of Conway, AR; step sons, Patrick Ray Pickering and wife Rocky of West Monroe, LA, Harold Liddell Pickering of Chatham, LA; two brothers, Eddie James Caskey of Colorado, Timothy Newton Caskey of Fort Worth, TX; fourteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Lewis Caskey; mother, Jeraldine Grant and a brother, Sammy Ray Caskey. Serving as pallbearers are: DeWayne Hudson, Chad Hudson, Bud Warren, Ray Pickering, Tyler McDonald, Derrick Johnson, Robert Pickering, Joey McDonald, and Dustin McDonald.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Kent W.
