Funeral services for Mr. Gary Douglas Rainbolt are scheduled for 2 PM on Saturday, February 29, 2020, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home, with Bro. Allan Eppinette officiating. Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 PM on Friday, February 28 at Golden Funeral Home. Mr. Rainbolt, a resident of Bastrop, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at the age of seventy-two. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lou Allen Rainbolt and Georgie Marie Rainbolt; one sister; and one brother. Survivors include his wife, Wanda McKoin Rainbolt; children, Todd Rainbolt, and wife Cindy, Doug Rainbolt, and wife Alice, Brian Rainbolt, and fiancé Holly, Donnie Paxton, and wife Misty, Kendra McKoin, and Erika Blissett, and husband Brandon; sister, Mattie Matlock; brothers, Ernest Rainbolt, and wife Joyce, and Jack Rainbolt, and wife Jeanie; grandchildren, Joshua Howie, Branson Blissett, Austin McKoin, and wife Laura, Tiffany Crumley, Heather DeShazo, and husband Adam, Brittanie Rainbolt, Teresa Paxton, and fiance' Chyenne Mayo, Raeleigh Paxton, Victoria Rainbolt, Layton Rainbolt, Gentry Crenshaw, Macy Crenshaw, Brady Crenshaw, Laura Thames, and husband Jacob, Bubba Rainbolt, and wife Becky, and Mandy Early, and husband Lucas. Great-grandchildren are Kalii Ramirez, Aiden Deshazo, Chloe Deshazo, Jordyn Albertie, Emma Kate Thames, Alexander Thames, Leah Thames, Presleigh Rainbolt, Levi Early, and Kam Early. Serving the family as pallbearers are Layton Rainbolt, Arnie Lowther, Toby Brown, Jeremy Rainbolt, Shawn Trichell, and Bobby Barnes Honorary pallbearers are Arnold Rawls, Charlie Hayes, Justin McKoin, and Bobby Adams.
