Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Mildred Flynn Maxwell, age 87, are scheduled for 10 AM Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Crowville Masonic Cemetery with Mr. Mark Sistrunk and Mr. Steve Sistrunk officating.
Mrs. Maxwell, a retired nurse and a resident of Bastrop, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020. Mrs. Maxwell is a member of North Bastrop Church of God. She enjoyed working in her yard, was an exceptional cook, and loved her family. Mrs. Maxwell is preceded in death by her husbands, Lewis Wells and J.L. Maxwell; daughter, Regina Kay Witcher; son, Roger A. Wells; and a grandson Lewis Edward Wells.
She is survived by her son, Lewis C. Wells and wife Janice of West Monroe, LA; one half-sister; one half-brother; three grandchildren, Felicia Tolar and husband Tim, Anthony Witcher and wife Carrie, Jason Wells and wife Kymbra; and four great grandchildren.
