Graveside funeral services for Mr. Randlon L. Farrar are scheduled for 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery, with Bro. Bob Lonadier officiating. Mr. Farrar, a resident of Bastrop, LA , and member of Central Missionary Baptist Church, passed away Monday, March 2, 2020, at the age of seventy-two.
He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother. He was a one-of-a kind person and he loved his grandchildren more than life itself. He was very big-hearted and loved all of his family and friends. He was a United States Army veteran, having served a total of eight years, as well as working in the oilfield and as a tug boat operator.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Farrar; his mother, Margaret Redell Murphy Farrar; his father and step-mother, Merle and Bessie Farrar; and one step-brother, Bill King.
Survivors include his daughters, Lori Jones, and husband David, and Kristi Ward and fiancé Donnie; brothers, Leonard Farrar, and wife Mickey, and Thomas Farrar, and wife Sharon; step-brothers, Purvis King and Bobby King; grandchildren, Paige Jones, Patrick Fife, Carrie Jones, John Mark Jones, Aaron Webb, Peyton Webb, and Brady Webb; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews that he cherished, and very special friend, Red Stanley and family.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Randlon "Randy" L.
