Graveside funeral services for Mr. Tony Cooper are scheduled for 10 AM Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Christ Church Cemetery with Bro. Tim Post officiating.
Mr. Cooper, a retired shipping clerk with International Paper Company, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at the age of seventy-eight. He was a loving husband of fifty-eight years and he loved his grandchildren. Mr. Cooper enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a veteran, having served his country in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Cooper; children, Carrie Cooper, Toney Cooper, Keith Cooper and wife Angela, Bryan Cooper; sister, Shirley Weems; brother, David Cooper and wife Glenda; grandchildren, Tyler Cooper, Brandon Mason, Marissa Cooper, Mikayla Cooper, Christian Cooper, Emily Cooper, Savannah Cooper; great grandchildren, Cayson, Cooper, Micah and Annabell; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Mr. Cooper is preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Georgia Cooper; son, Kevin Cooper; grandson, Kevin Cooper; sister, Janet Cooper; brothers, Robert Cooper, James Cooper; and daughter-in-law, Tia Cooper.
