Private graveside services for Mr. Richard “Dicky” Hales, age sixty, will be held Monday.
Mr. Hales, a retired pipe fitter and resident of Bastrop passed away Friday, April 17, 2020. Dicky was an avid outdoorsman and gardener. Dicky was a good hearted man who loved sharing his vegetables with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Clayton Hales.
Mr. Hales is survived by his mother, Glenda Hales; a daughter, Jessica Fonville of Austin, TX; sisters, Deborah Johnson of Monroe, LA, Beverly Edwards and husband Todd of Crossett, AR; brothers, Thomas Hales and wife Charlotte of Bastrop, LA, William Hales and wife Rita of Baskin, LA, Robert “Hoss” Hales and wife Christi of Bastrop; special friends, Darrell Naff, Keith Bennett; and numerous loved nieces and nephews.
