Linda K. Ryder, age 77 and a resident of Bastrop, LA passed away Monday, April 20, 2020. Private graveside funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2020 with Rev. Dennis Hackler officiating.
Mrs. Ryder, a homemaker, was a member of Cherry Ridge Baptist church and she loved her church family. She loved to cook and one of her favorite past times was reading. Her family held a special place in her heart and was the center of her life.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Larry Ryder; daughters, Cherrie Dickerson and husband Randall, Brandi Martinez and husband Donald; son-in-law, Alan Bankston; brother, Ronnie Cherry; grandchildren, Jason Bankston, Colby Dickerson, Brady Dickerson, Paige Martinez; great grandchildren, Olivia Bankston, Ridge Bankston, Chloe Dickerson and Brooks Dickerson.
Mrs. Ryder is preceded in death by her parents, Earl Cherry and Thelma Cherry; daughter, Sheryl Bankston; sister, Sue Naron and brother, Marion A. Cherry.
The family would like to express a thank you to LHC Louisiana Hospice, Brandy Canales and Gayle Palm for their dedication and continued support during this time.
