Joyce Marie Musgrove Dupre
Mrs. Joyce was born August 7, 1944 and passed away May 20, 2020 in Ville Platte, LA at the age of seventy-five. Mrs. Dupre was a long time employee as a waitress at the Pig Stand in Ville Platte until she retired. Joyce has been a resident of Heritage Manor in Ville Platte for te last five years.
She is survived by her husband, John (Shorty) Dupre; sister, Catherine Harrell and husband Lloyd; brothers, Bobby Musgrove, Sam Musgrove, Johnny Musgrove and wife Fredia; Larry Musgrove and wife Elva; sister-in-law, Ginger Bush Musgrove; brothers-in-law, Keith Barton, Larry Elkins; stepchildren, James Fontenot and wife Teresa, John Ellis Dupre and wife Wanda; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her best friend, Peggy Maricle.
Mrs. Dupre is preceded in death by her parents, George and Mae Musgrove; sisters, Lollie Elkins, Roxanne Barton; brother, Jerry Musgrove and sister-in-law, Velda Moore Musgrove.
There will be a graveside service at 3 PM Friday, May 22, 2020 at Musgrove Cemetery with Bro. Butch Goodman officiating.
