Funeral services for Mr. Barnie J. Smith are scheduled for 10 AM Saturday, May 23, 2020 in the chapel with Bro. Larry Courson officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 9 AM - 10 AM service time.
Mr. Smith passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at the age of eighty-eight.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-seven years, Geneva Smith; daughters, Sylvia Wilson and husband Kenny, Sandra Smith; brother, Dennis Smith; grandchildren, Nathan E. White and wife Leigh Ann, Ashley Cable and wife Nikki, Donna Nowell and husband Terry, Alex Courson and wife Katie; great grandchildren, Skyler Cable, Savannah White, Joshua Courson, Jessica Pucket, Charlie Marvin Nowell, Kalia Perkins, Kayla Little, and Raychel Elkins.
Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his grandparents, Thomas and Lula Mae Smith; parents, Barney and Hettie Marvin Smith; son, Tony Marvin Smith and granddaughter, Jennifer Courson and sister, Rheba Isgitt.
