Mr Hoss has been a brother to me for many years and the best neighbor a man can truely ever have. The suffering is over for you brother. Rest In Peace.

Wilma, Jessica and Michelle, please accept our condolences. I offer them on behalf of the Veterans of the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment who served in Vietnam and Cambodia. (11thACVVC). Today you lay to rest and we salute one of our fallen brothers, Dallas Ray Manning. Your husband and father served courageously in Vietnam and it was our privilege to have him in the ranks of the Legendary Blackhorse Regiment. Our loss is that of another brother down and he will not be forgotten. But as our Burial Liturgy clearly states, his "life has not ended merely changed" and as we were together then (in Vietnam), we will be together again in the life hereafter, comfortably enfolded in the loving arms of our Merciful Father.
Chaplain Blandin W. Karabinos (11th ACVVC)

I met Dallas for the first time at a family reunion at Willard Newman’s house back in the 90’s. I was with my future wife Karen (Newman) at the time ; Burrell Newman’s daughter). Although his handshake almost crushed my hand, his welcoming spirit and kindness were obvious. Our paths crossed a couple times over the years, unfortunately at family funerals, but it was always a joy to him, a brother veteran.
I hope your loving memories can give you some support through these coming days and weeks Wilma. I’m fairly certain we’ll all be seeing him again, healthy, happy and full of love. However, I’m not sure I’ll shake his hand again!! Perhaps a hug instead.
God bless you and your family. Rich
