There are no words to express my sadness at the loss of Harrie. We were all blessed to have known him. I knew Harrie when he was at First West. His kindness, gentleness and calmness were qualities that jumped out at me immediately. Even as Harrie was sitting at the sound board listening to all the feedback and needs of musicians from the stage, "I can't hear the piano, Harrie.; A little more base, Harrie.;
My mike is not working.; Can you hear the sopranos, altos?; etc., etc., he remained as steady as a rock, never once getting short or aggravated with anyone. He will be missed. I can only imagine your sorrow and pain as you adjust to his loss. You are all in my prayers.
Sincerely,
Marsha Linam

I have not had the honor of knowing Harrie since he was a young child. Bro. Mac was our first pastor in Greenville, MS when Harrie was born. The family has meant so much to us over the years and have kept up with them. The few times we have gotten to see them was just like visiting with family. I am so sorry to learn of Harrie's passing and our thoughts and prayers are with the family during this time and especially with Leah.

Leah, LuAnne, and Marian, I'm so sorry that Harrie's life was cut so short here. But I guess his work was accomplished, and he was needed in heaven. He was probably the most loving, giving, conscientious young man that I've had the privilege of being around. Love to all of your family, Nita

To Nancy,
I am so sorry for the loss of your husband. I’m sure he was a wonderful partner and loving father. I live in Indiana now-a long way from the good ole Riviera days but I do think of you from time to time. I will especially be sending you sympathy and healing thoughts during this difficult time!
With Condolences, Becky

I am home in Heaven, dear one,
Oh, so happy and so bright,
There is perfect joy and beauty
In this everlasting light.
All the pain and sorrow over,
Every sadness tossing passed,
I am now at peace forever,
Safely home in Heaven at last.
Did you wonder why I so calmly
Trod the valley of the shade?
Oh but Jesus' love illuminated
Every dark and fearful glade.
And He came Himself to meet me,
In that way so hard to tread,
And with Jesus' arm to lean on,
How could I have one doubt or dread?
Then you must not grieve so sorely
For I love you so much still,
Try to look beyond earth's shadows,
Pray and trust our Father's will,
There is work still waiting for you,
So you must not idly stand.
Do it now while life remaineth,
You shall rest in our Lord's land.
When your work is finally completed,
Jesus will gently call you home;
The rapture of that meeting,
Oh, the joy to see you come!!!!
God bless you, Prince Harrie...
