Graveside funeral services for Steven LaFay Ferrell are scheduled for 2 PM Monday, July 13, 2020 in Memorial Park Cemetery with Revs. Stan Wyant and Lisa Mayo officiating.
Mr. Ferrell, a Farm Service Agent for the Federal Government USDA FSA, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020 at the age of fifty-five. He was a member of the NRA and was an avid LSU fan. Mr. Ferrell enjoyed raising a garden, fishing, deer hunting and riding around checking on the crops with his dog “Herman”.
He is survived by his wife Tami Watson Ferrell; mother, Verna Sue Ferrell of Bastrop, LA; stepson, Cameron Jacob Deere of Monroe, LA; sister, Teresa Lynn Ferrell of Bastrop, La and numerous nieces, nephews and other family.
Mr. Ferrell is preceded in death by his father, Harold Ferrell; nephew, Matt Morton and his grandparents.
Honorary pallbearers are Bunny Keith McKoin and Timmy Brown.
