Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Montgomery Procell are scheduled for 10 AM Friday, July 24, 2020, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home, with Bro. Mike Chain, Bro. Craig Chain, and Bro. Trentin Musgrove officiating. Interment will follow in Tillou Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 23, 2020, from 5 - 7 PM at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Procell, a resident of Bastrop, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020, at the age of sixty-nine. She loved her family and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her heart. She enjoyed fishing, bird watching, and collecting wind chimes. She loved listening to country music, especially Conway Twitty and Alan Jackson. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Musgrove; and her parents, Lester “Fatty” Montgomery and Lizzie Montgomery. Survivors include her husband, Joseph Dennis Procell, daughters, Sheryl Crenshaw, and husband Terry and Mary Musgrove Brantley, and husband James; son, Terence Musgrove, and wife Tessa; sister, Georgia Chain, and husband Mike; brother, Murray Montgomery; grandchildren, Kody Johnson, Samantha Procell, Morgan Crenshaw, Corey Procell, Aaron Brantley, Brelynn Musgrove, Trentin Musgrove, Gavin Musgrove, and Hallie Musgrove; and great-grandchildren, Tucker Bagbey, Paityn Crenshaw, Briston Procell, Layton Procell, Kinley Procell, Canton Procell, Major Sims, Maxton Sims, and Nydia Sims. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Trentin Musgrove, Kody Johnson, Corey Procell, Aaron Brantley, James Brantley, Terry Crenshaw, Wyatt Strebeck, Brad Montgomery, and Jacob Chain.
