Funeral services for Mr. Jimmy Bingham, age 76, will be held at 2 PM Monday, September 14, 2020 at Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Clovis Sturdivant officiating. Interment will follow in Bonne Idee Cemetery.
Mr. Bingham, a resident of Calhoun and retired from off shore work, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2020. Mr. Bingham was a member of First Baptist Church, Calhoun. He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Marie Bingham.
Mr. Bingham is survived by his wife of 55 years, Cecilia Bingham; daughter, Penny Fletcher and husband A.C.; sons, Robert Bingham and wife Renee, Jason Bingham and wife Melissa; sisters, Linda Notzon and husband Rich, Charlotte Bingham; brothers, Bill Bingham, Glen Bingham, Ron Bingham and wife Mary, Larry Bingham and wife Kathy; eleven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1 PM until 2 PM Monday at the Golden Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Kurt Fletcher, Brian Fletcher, Marshal Bingham, Gavin Bingham, Jeremy Jones, and Roger James.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to the Gideons International, www.gideons.org.
