Graveside funeral services for Mr. Henry C. Boyd, Jr. Are scheduled for 2 PM Friday, September 18, 2020 at Bartholomew Methodist Church Cemetery with Charles R. Baxter officiating.
Mr. Boyd, a retired Federal Law Enforcement Agent, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at the age of seventy-four. He was a member of Church of Christ, and a member of the Masonic Lodge, Potte, TX. Mr. Boyd serve his country for twenty years in the United States Air Force and worked twenty-six years for the Federal Government with Homeland Security.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-five years, Patricia Jordan Boyd; son, Shannon Boyd and wife Dawn of Bastrop, LA; sister, Carolyn Guthrie and husband Allen of Jacksonville, AR; brother, Bobby W. Boyd and wife Audrey of Bastrop, LA; Katherine and Chip, whom he considered his grandchildren, and their parents, Keith and Suzanne Davenport.
Mr. Boyd is preceded in death by his parents, Henry C. Boyd, Sr and Lillian Boyd; grandparents, Grace Boyd and Seab and Gladys Rainbolt.
Visitation will be held Friday from 1 PM - 1:45 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
A Memorial Tree was planted for Henry C.
