Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Johnson are scheduled for 1 PM Sunday, September 27, 2020 in McKnight Cemetery with Jerry Bolin officiating. Service is under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mrs. Johnson passed away Thursday, September 24, 2020 at the age of seventy-seven. She was a hard worker and member of Mt. Zion Church. Mrs. Johnson loved her family, her Lord and never lost her faith.
She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Pollock and husband Jim of Crossett, AR, Darlene Blackard and husband Dawson of Bastrop, LA; son, David Jones and wife Cheryl of Malvern, AR; sister, Jean Book and husband Richard of Bastrop, LA; grandchildren, Ryan Stanfill, Samantha Stanfill, Michael Jones, Caitlyn Jones, Ross Blackard, Emily Blackard, Abigail Pollock, and Matthew Pollock; great grand-children, Nolan Harmenson, Arionna Hindmon, Aiden Jones, Jessica Stanfill, Luke Stanfill and Baylin Blackard.
Mrs. Johnson is preceded in death by her husband, James Johnson; parents, Robert and Hazel Smith; brother, Robert Mayo, Jr., and daughter-in-law, Jo Ann Jones.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Lagniappe Healthcare staff and Dr. Carter Cox for the years of loving care.
