Memorial services for Mary Jo Drake will be held at a later date. Jo was born May 1, 1928 and passed peacefully away on October 4, 2020 at her home. She loved life and lived a very full and adventurous life.
She is survived by four children, Romona Bridges and husband Donnie of Bastrop, LA, Rod Drake and wife Lisa of Riverview, FL, Rhonda Newman and husband Dennis of Evergreen, CO, George Michael White and wife Ruthie of Bastrop, LA; eight grandchildren, Jeff Bridges and wife Melissa, Jeremy Bridges and wife Stephaney, Ashley Clifton and husband Curtis, Matthew Drake and Jessie, David Newman and wife Christina, Brandy Guillford and husband Craig, Joey White, and Justin White and wife Anna; and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
Mrs. Drake is preceded in death by her parents, Viola Carroll and Jimmy Carroll; husband, Rod Drake; sister, Catherine Townsend; brothers, Clarence Pullen and Horace Pullen.
The family would also like to thank Dustin, Cindy and Martha of Premier Hospice and Dr. Noble and his staff for taking such great care of Mrs. Drake.
