Obituary of Floyd O'Neal Robinson

Funeral services for Mr. Floyd O'Neal Robinson are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Monday, October 12, 2020, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Rodney Ratcliff and Bro. Mike Loveday officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Robinson, a resident of Bastrop, passed away Saturday, October 10, 2020, at the age of eighty-two. He was a member of the Harmony Baptist Church. His family was his heart and he loved spending time with them. He enjoyed fishing and love dancing. He is preceded in death by is wife, Carolyn Robinson; children, Wanda Brunson and Mike Robinson; parents, Bishop and Ina Mae Robinson; sisters, Sammie Ratcliff and her husband, Ray, and Linda Peavy; niece, Penny Jones; and nephew, Dennis Burns. Survivors include his sisters, Jennie Burns, and husband Charles and Lorrie Poland, and husband Dennis; step-daughter, Deborah Frye, and husband Don; grandchildren, Lance Wilkins, and Jason Brunson; great-grandchildren, Ethan Brunson, Austin Brunson, and Devin Brunson; step-grandchildren, Aiden Frye, Sophie Frye, Abby Frye; and numerous nieces and nephews. Serving the family as pallbearers will be Noah Ratcliff, Jacob Ratcliff, Roger Wall, Ray Waller, Landon Collinsworth, and Joe Rainwater. Honorary pallbearers are L.J. Jordan, Vernon Earl Chisom, John W. Roy, Huey Bonner, John "Repete" Peavy, and Jack Matthews. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until service time.
