Obituary of Mary Alice Crumley

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Alice Crumley, age 73. Are scheduled for 11 AM Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Golden Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday morning from 10 AM. Mrs. Crumley, a resident of Bastrop, loved people and showed her love for them by cooking for them. Her family was the center of her life and she loved spending holidays with them, especially Christmas. She loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and lived her life to serve Him. Reading was one of her favorite pastimes, especially reading her Bible. She is survived by her daughter, Allison Crumley and Gene Thompson; son, Tim Crumley and wife Wendi; grandchildren, Tiffany Crumley and fiancé David, Jon Thomas Akers and wife Celeste, Heather DeShazo and husband Adam, Brandi Wires and fiancé Coby, Felicia Geick and Husband Alan; great grandchildren, Kalii, Ryder, Zephyr, Aiden, Chloe, Aspen, Emory, Trevor, Kadence, Kelsea; sister, Geneva Orr and husband Acie. Mrs. Crumley is preceded in death by her husband, John Crumley; parents, Henry and Rosie Oliver; grandson, Aaron Akers and seven siblings. Serving as pallbearers will be Don Collins, Jr., Gerald Massey, Rastus Massey, David Heilers, Josh Lebrun and Josh Jones.
