Funeral services for Mr. Ronald L. “Spy” Cameron, age 84, are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Andy Myrick and Bro. David Barton officiating. Interment will follow in Causey Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 1 PM until 2 PM service time at Goldens.
Mr. Cameron was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of the Brushy Laigle Hunting Club in Warren, AR. Mr. Cameron loved Bastrop United Pentecostal Church where he attended and he loved being around Christian people. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War.
He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Cameron and fiancé Shelton Hale; sons, David Cameron and wife Tina, Jerry Gus Cameron and wife Sandy; brother, Rusty Howell and wife Kate; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mr. Cameron is preceded in death by his wife Flo Cameron; son, Ronald Glynn Cameron; father and step-mother, Fulton and Marie Cameron; mother, Thelma Davidson and sister, Carolyn Barton.
Serving the family as pallbearers will be Jerry Curry, Joey Keene, Jamie Smith, Randall Parrott, Jerry Santiny, and Collin Rockett.
Honorary pallbearers are Shelton Hale and Bryan Craighead.
