Mr. Ronnie Ben Ramshur, Sr., was born September 14, 1949, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2020 at the age of seventy-one. He was a resident of Bastrop.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Virginia Ramshur, and a sister, Pamela Ross.
Survivors include his wife of forty-two years, Sherry Ramshur; children, Stephanie VanGilder, and husband Matt, and Ronnie Ben Ramshur, Jr.; brother, Gary Lynn Ramshur, and wife Sharon; and grandchildren, Savannah VanGilder, Memphis VanGilder, Jacob Dunham, Skyla Ramshur, and Ronnie Ben Ramshur III.
Ronnie will be remembered as a loving family man, husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid outdoorsman loving to fish and hunt, as well as being an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints.
Funeral service arrangements will be announced at a later date.
