Melynda Devona Lawson, a resident of Monroe, LA, passed away Friday, November 6, 2020, at the age of twenty-five. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. She had a special love for all kinds of animals, especially her dog, Jovi.
Melynda is survived by her father, Tim Larry Lawson; mother, Rebecca Lynne Lawson; grandfather, Larry Lawson and wife B.J.; grandmother, Laverne Lawson; brothers, Brandon Keith Lawson and wife Heather, Christopher Lance Lawson and wife Shaunie, Mason Kyle Lawson; uncles, Jack Brennon, Jr., Jimmy Brennon; nieces, Orion Lawson, Isabella Lawson; cousin, Jessy Brennon; and a host of extended family.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jeanette and Jack Brennon; and uncle, Carl Ray Brennon.
The family requests that donations be made to offset funeral costs.
