Funeral services for David Mario Villanueva are scheduled for 10 AM Wednesday, November 25, 2020, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Reverend Timothy Hurd. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA. Visitation and Vigil service will be held Tuesday, November 24, 2020, from 5 PM - 8 PM at Goldens.
Mr. Villanueva, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Saturday, November 21, 2020, at the age of eighty-seven. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Bastrop, LA, and a retiree of G.C. Murphy Distributors.
Mr. Villanueva is survived by his daughter, Lisa Jones and husband James of Farmerville, LA; son, Mario Villanueva of Farmerville, LA; four sisters, Eva, Virginia, Josephine, and Patricia; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dallas Villanueva; sister, Lena; daughter, Maria; and grandson, Chris.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jamie Jones, Mario Villanueva, David Shumway, Steve Williams, and Aaron Villanueva.
