Graveside services for Mrs. Dorothy June Nolan Bulloch are scheduled for 2 PM Tuesday, December 1, 2020, at Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Doug Edwards officiating. Visitation will be from 12 - 1:30 PM at Golden Funeral Home.
Dorothy June Nolan Bulloch, 92, of Bastrop, LA, passed away November 29, 2020, after a short illness. Dorothy was born June 29, 1928 in Morehouse Parish. She graduated from Bastrop High School and later she went to nursing school and became an LPN. She worked at Morehouse General Hospital for over 40 years and many of those years she was in Labor and Delivery, which she really enjoyed, especially when she was there for the delivery of several of her grandchildren and a few great-grandchildren.
Dorothy was a member of Tillou Baptist Church in Bastrop.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Nolan and Bessie Burnette Nolan Rea; husband, John Homer Bulloch; a daughter, Barbara Westbrook; a son, Randall “Randy” Bulloch; a granddaughter, Donna Neutze; a great-granddaughter, Megan Bulloch; two sisters, Doris Brown and Ruth Montgomery; a brother, Franklyn Nolan; and numerous other family members.
She is survived by three children, Donnie Bulloch and wife Brenda of Bastrop, Michael “Mike” Bulloch and wife Connie of Holly Ridge, LA, Lorri Stephenson and husband Steve of Bastrop; grandchildren, John Edward Wilson and wife Donna, Angela Westbrook Durham and husband Chris, Curtis Westbrook, Shane Bulloch and wife Tracey, Scott Bulloch and wife Candy, Seth Bulloch and wife Jenni, Kimberly Bulloch May and husband Jim Bob, Justin Bulloch and wife Crissy, Feleshia Bulloch, Brandon Bulloch, Michael John “Bud” Bulloch, Jessica Bulloch Hilliard and husband James, Amanda Stephenson Day and husband Kevin, and Stephanie Stephenson; 33 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Alfred Lee “Al” Rea and wife Diane of Bastrop; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons and great-grandsons.
