Obituary of Frances Towles Herrington

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Frances Towles Herrington are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday, December 9, 2020, in Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Herrington, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020, at the age of eighty-seven. She was a member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church, the Busy Bee Club, and Beta Sigma Phi. Mrs. Herrington loved hunting, fishing, LSU, and watching Cadge play baseball. Mrs. Herrington is survived by her grandchildren, Rebecca Wallace of Bastrop, LA, John Herrington of Bastrop, LA; great-grandchildren, Cadge Wallace of Bastrop, LA, Gabe Herrington of Alexandria, LA, Cheyanne Herrington of Breaux Bridge, LA; nephews, Darrell Naff and wife Renee, Billy Don Towles, Clifford D. Towles, Jackie Towles Shepherd, Laura Towles Branch, Ray Towles, John Noel Towles, Spencer Herrington, Hugh Warren Herrington, John Harvey Herrington; and numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Noel Towles and Rosa Towles Smith; husband, Harold Herrington; son, Doug Herrington; brothers, Raymond Towles and Clifford “Dub” Towles; sister, Mary Lois Naff.
