Funeral services for Mr. Timothy D. Thompson are scheduled for 2 PM Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Bastrop United Pentecostal Church with Bro. Dwight Fulton officiating. Interment will follow in Bartholomew Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home.
Mr. Thompson, a carpenter by trade, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020. He was a member of Bastrop United Pentecostal Church. Mr. Thompson enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, Jeanette Brister Thompson; daughter, Joy Baines and husband Tim; son, Gene Thompson and wife Allison; grandchildren, Aaron Baines and Jenn, Michael Baines and wife Regina, Morgan Thompson Seay; great grandchildren, Alaina, Alexis, Aubree, Payson, Conner, Kylee, Elijah, Brendan and Ruari; brothers, Tommy Thompson, Donnie Thompson, Franklin Thompson and many nieces and nephews.
Serving the family as pallbearers are Tim Baines, Doug Barton, Craig Mashburn, Paris Stokes, Mike McCune and Jerry Barton.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 16 from 1 PM - 2 PM service time at the church.
