Funeral services for Elizabeth Morris Williams are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, December 20, 2020, at Cherry Ridge Baptist Church with Bro. Dennis Hackler officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Sunday prior to the service, beginning at 1PM.
Mrs. Williams, a member of Cherry Ridge Baptist Church, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020, at the age of ninety-two. She was a member of the Pecan Growers Association and the Collinston Garden Club. Mrs. Williams worked for IPCO Single Service for over twenty years and Ferrell Construction Company, operating several different pieces of heavy equipment. She enjoyed being outdoors, working with her flowers, and cooked the best biscuits in the world. Mrs. Williams lived life for her children and grandchildren and wanted to provide the very best for them.
She is survived by her children, Tommy Morris and wife Charlotte, Eddie Morris and wife Wanda, Jan Morris Thompson and husband Sherman; daughter-in-law, Annita Morris; grandchildren, Theresa Morris, Spencer Morris and wife Mandy, Brooke Morris, Trevor Morris, Chad Morris and wife Jana, Robin Doles and husband Jason, Holly Thompson, Michael Andrews, Jeffrey Andrews; great-grandchildren, Barbara Pottberg, Tiffany Morris, Jamie Morris, Stacie Hebert, Jacob Hebert, Mallory Morin, Marshall Morris, Megan Morris, Cohen Morris, Reagan Morris, Brennan Morris, MacKenzie Morris, Braxton Moeller, Camron Thompson, Cason Thompson, Bree Andrews, Dustin Andrews, Dalton Andrews, Colton Andrews, Melana Andrews, Clinton Andrews; eight great-great-grandchildren; special sisters-in-law, Monnie Vosburg, Jean Ferrell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by her parents, J.H. and Viola Ferrell; husband, Leroy Morris; husband, John Paul “Slim” Williams; son, Leroy Mack Morris; grandsons, Jimmy Don Morris, Stacy Morris; great-grandson, William “Billy” Wolfe, Jr; brothers, James Ferrell, Carl Ferrell, B.C. Ferrell, H.E. Ferrell; sisters, Myrtis Fuller, Polly Bogardus, and Vertie Mosier.
Serving as pallbearers will be Trevor Morris, Chad Morris, Marshall Morris, Spencer Morris, Justin Smalling, Brennan Morris, Camron Thompson, Gavin Wolfe, and Ricky Skains.
