Obituary of Cloteal, McDonald Heckford Trichell

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Cloteal McDonald Heckford Trichell, age 79, are scheduled for 1 PM Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Bonita Road Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Bob Alexander officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, prior to the service, from 11 AM until 12:30 PM at Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Trichell, a resident of Mer Rouge, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2020. She loved her family, her grandchildren and attending family events. She was a member of Hillview Freewill Baptist Church and she played mandolin, guitar and sang with Friends and Neighbors music band, the music ministry to nursing homes. She is survived by her husband, Woody Trichell; daughters, Kelly Coston and husband Owen of Bastrop, LA, Beverly Andrews and husband Dale of Bastrop, LA; sons, Ronald Heckford of Bastrop, LA, Stephen Heckford and Scott Thornton of Mer Rouge, LA, Nick Mindling of Bastrop, LA, Wesley Doyle Heckford of West Monroe, LA; siblings, Pauline Greenwood, Jimmy Ray McDonald, Benny McDonald, Doyle McDonald, Ricky McDonald; grandchildren, Hollie Hayden, Trish Heckford, Tony Heckford, Jacob Coston, Allen Coston, Casey Middleton, Dale Andrews, Josh Andrews, Jacob Heckford, Jeremy Heckford; great grandchildren, Piper Shayne Rice, Ryder Rice, Haidynn White, Jace Stanley and Allie Mann. Mrs. Trichell is preceded in death by her son, Tony Allen Heckford; parents, Wilbur and Elma McDonald; sisters, Helen Marsh, Ethal Mae McDonald, Linda Kay McDonald, Darlene McDougald, Peggy Hall; brothers, Wesley Gene McDonald, Earl McDonald and Eugene McDonald.
