Obituary of Alice Bell Ferguson

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Alice Bell Ferguson, age 87, are scheduled for 10 AM Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Bartholomew Methodist Church Cemetery with Bro. Gary Guice officiating. Mrs. Ferguson, a resident of Bossier City, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020. She was a loving person and all who met her could tell. She had a very positive outlook and attitude on life and never had a bad thing to say about anyone. She enjoyed crocheting and playing cards. She loved all children and animals. Celebrating birthdays and Christmas were among her favorite things. She is survived by her sister, Lois Hogan of Bossier City, LA; brother, Lonnie Joe Thompson and wife Joan of Anniston, AL and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Ferguson is preceded in death by her mother Dixie Virginia Thompson and step-father, Lonnie Thompson. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Leslie Sewell for her compassion and care for the past 12 years, to Kate and the entire team at Regional Hospice and to her sitter, Paronda Furlow.
