Obituary of Ronnie Lee Tubbs

Funeral services for Mr. Ronnie Lee Tubbs are scheduled for 2 PM, Tuesday, January 5, 2021, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home, with Bro. Dalyn Helbling officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until service time on Tuesday, January 5, 2021.
Mr. Tubbs, a retired farmer and grain elevator manager and a member of the First Church of God, passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020, at the age of seventy-eight. He held his family close to his heart and loved his wife dearly. His children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were his pride and joy. He found no greater joy in life than what he found in his family and friends. He was a great conversationalist and never met a stranger.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John William and Evelyn Tubbs; sister, Phyllis Buffington and brother, Joe Tubbs.
Mr. Tubbs is survived by his wife of forty-four years, Carol Tubbs; children, Steve Tubbs and wife Mary Kay, Lea Ann Frazier, and husband Arlon, and Michael Tubbs, and wife Bethany; brother, Larry Tubbs, and wife Berniece; grandchildren, Brandon Berry, and wife Michelle, Samantha Tubbs, Savannah Rivera-Anaga and husband Miguel, Magon Litton, and husband Michael, J.P. Richardson, and wife Shannon, Hannah Grace Tubbs, Liam Tubbs, and Isla Tubbs; eight great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Serving the family as pallbearers will be Brandon Berry, J.P. Richardson, Kevin Tubbs, Scott Tubbs, Arlon Frazier, and Jerry Barton.
