Funeral services for Mrs. Rachel Carolyn Brown Gray are scheduled for 10 AM Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at Greenacres Baptist Church with Bro. Tony Campanale officiating. Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Wednesday prior to the service, beginning at 9 AM.
Mrs. Gray, a resident of Bastrop, LA, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021, at the age of seventy-six. She was a member of Greenacres Baptist Church and retired as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Mrs. Gray loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and she enjoyed all of her animals.
Mrs. Gray is survived by her sons, Wayne Allen Gray, Elton Ray Gray and wife Cheryl; sister, Joyce Kirkley; ten grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Robert Von Gray, Von Thomas Gray; two sisters and two brothers.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ben Gray, Nick Gray, Preston Smith, Alex Smith, Scotty Lindberg, Tommy Hill, Jeremy Bridges, and Charles Anderson.
