Obituary of Florence Tribe

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Florence Tribe are scheduled for 1 PM Thursday, January 14, 2021, in Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Tim Post officiating. Services will be under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Mrs. Tribe, a homemaker and member of Lighthouse Baptist Church, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021, at the age of seventy-seven. She was a loving wife and a wonderful mother and grandmother. Mrs. Tribe was one of the sweetest women ever, with a smile that would light up a room. She never met a stranger and was a friend to all. Her relationship to the Lord was the most important part of her life. She also loved collecting roosters and bird houses. Mrs. Tribe is survived by her son, Quint Tribe and wife Mary; grandchildren, Whitney Tribe, Courtney Hebert and husband Milton, Hannah Tribe, Samantha Garick, Toby Garick; great-grandchildren, Kennedy Hebert, Logan DiRamio; and numerous cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Tribe; son, Chris Tribe; and parents, Bill and Lila Brekeen. Serving as pallbearers will be Keith Gross, Christian Gross, Justin Gross, Josh Gross, Daniel O’Neal, and Kenneth Cotton. Honorary pallbearer will be Milton Hebert.
