Obituary of Patricia Osborn
Please share a memory of Patricia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Patricia Ann Osborn,72, are scheduled for 11 AM Saturday, January 16, 2021, in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery, Monroe, LA, with Rev. Lisa Mayo officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday morning from 9AM until 10 AM at Golden Funeral Home in Bastrop, LA.
Mrs. Osborn was known to most of her family as “Trish” or “Nana.” She was born in Bastrop, LA, in 1948, to Ina Thomisee and John Crow, and was the oldest of five children: Trish, John, Willie, Jamie, and Trudy. At the age of eighteen, she married Paul Wallace, also of Bastrop, and went on the road as an Airforce wife. Trish had two children, Paul Jr. and Deborah, living in Texas, New Mexico, Florida, and Pennsylvania. She was a great bowler, Sunday school teacher, and chief supporter and transporter for the family. She could always be counted on to cook pies, cookies, and fudge...everyone’s favorites.
As she established her own life in North Little Rock, she enjoyed bowling and dancing, where she met Rickey Osborn from Paragould, marrying in 1988. This is when she was able to welcome Kimberly and Bradley into her life and heart, in addition to Ricks’ siblings, mom, and friends. Trish also established herself within the banking industry, trucking company, and finally, Fleet Tire, as an office manger. What made her great was how much she always cared for everyone.
After retiring, Trish returned to Bastrop, LA, to be closer to her siblings and her mom, who later passed in 2016. During her return to Bastrop, Trish began spending more time with her grandchildren: John, Riley, Colton, Cayden, Parker, and Jillian. Later, she moved to Houston, TX, and as with all parts of her life, she found her way into the hearts of everyone she met, including her son-in-law’s family, Tess, Kathy, Scott, James, Kelly, Zach, and Crystal.
Finally, who could forget the wonderful dogs she has had as part of her life. From her first child, Silver, to the Saint Bernard, to her last poodle, Bruno.
Thank you for all those you have touched and the selflessness you approached life with.
