Funeral services for Mrs. Loretta June Carter are scheduled for 3:30 PM Saturday, January 30, 2021, at Bonita Road Baptist Church with Bro. Casey Johnson and Bro. Doug Edwards officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 PM until 3:30 PM, service time.
Mrs. Carter was born August 31, 1938, and passed away January 28, 2021, at the age of eighty-two. She was born in West Virginia to Frank and Nettie Bell Saiz. Mrs. Carter was married to Ocie Donald Carter on December 14, 1973, in Liberty, TX. She served in the Morehouse Parish School System for years. Mrs. Carter’s favorite places to go to were Bastrop Beauty School and PT’s, for her chicken and dressing. She loved sitting on her porch in her swing watching her cats.
Mrs. Carter is preceded in death by her husband, Ocie Donald Carter; great-grandson, Donavan Guyewski; twin great-grandchildren; parents, Frank and Nettie Saiz; grandparents, Leonard and Bessie Bell Snow; and brother, Frank Saiz, Jr..
She is survived by her two sons, Stanley Glen Guyewski and Kimberly of Bastrop, and Robert Guyewski and Kimberly of Calhoun; grandchildren, Stanley Guyewski, Jr, of Bastrop, LA, Katie Day of Bastrop, LA, Josh Guyewski and wife Denise of Bastrop, LA, Jana Lautigar and husband Scott of Bastrop, LA, Tiffany White and husband Derrick of Harrison, AR, Loretta Cohn of Willis, TX, Justin Stanley and wife Taylor of Washington, Chad Sosa of Bastrop, Amber Crenshaw of Calhoun, LA, fifteen great-grandchildren; and special friends, Roger Leburn and wife Shelia, Ray Waller, Dr. Cox, and Robbie Rios.
Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Guyewski, Stanley Guyewski, Jr, Devon Guyewski, Joseph McClendon, Ray Waller, and George Almond. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Leburn, Scott Almond and Jamie Almond.
