Obituary of Glynn Edward Emanuel

Funeral services for Mr. Glynn Edward Emanuel are scheduled for 2 PM Saturday, February 27, 2021, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with Branch President Arlyn Richards officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 12 PM - 2 PM. Mr. Emanuel, a retired farmer and welder, passed away Monday, February 22, 2021, at the age of sixty-eight. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and enjoyed country music and westerns. Mr. Emanuel is survived by his sister, Glenda Holladay and husband Hollis Joe; nephew, John McDavid Savage; niece, Debra Fortune, Jennifer Savage; great-nephews, Jason Fortune, Ashton Fortune, Brandon Fortune, Kamron Fortune, Michael Pruitt, Wesley Pruitt, Nickolaus Blanton; Great-nieces, Ashley Fortune, Carlie Grace Savage; great-great-nephews, Jase River Fortune, Darren Michael Pruitt, William Pruitt, Dominee Pruitt; great-great-nieces, Reagan Adaleigh Fortune, AnnaClaire Moree’ Fortune, Zoey Pruitt, Lajoice Pruitt, and Isabella Fortune. He is preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Lena Emanuel; grandparents, John McDavid Emanuel and Sallye Eudora Emanuel, Leonard Coleman Heath and Alice Beatrice Copeland Heath and a nephew in law, Lee Ashley Fortune. Serving as pallbearers will be Ashton Fortune, Brandon Fortune, and Kamron Fortune.
