Funeral services for Ms. Barbara Jordan Powell are scheduled for 10 AM Wednesday, March 3, 2021, in the chapel of Golden Funeral Home with Bro. Allan Eppinette officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The visitation will be held Tuesday, March 2, 2021, from 5 PM - 7 PM at Goldens.
Ms. Powell, a member of Harmony Baptist Church, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021, at the age of seventy. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren very much. Ms. Powell had a kind heart and was always sweet to others. She enjoyed going to church, shopping, and having her hair and nails done.
Ms. Powell is survived by her daughters, Tammy Wilson and Warren, Rebecca Ann Powell; son, Coby Powell and wife Crystal; siblings, Lucille Gee and husband Harry, Delton Jordan, Jr. and wife Shelia, Debra Turnbow, Linda Bolin and husband Johnny, Carolyn Mayse and husband Rodney; grandchildren, Jamie Freeland and husband Christopher, Christopher Taylor Powell; great-grandchildren, Chase Freeland, Colt Freeland; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Delton Jordan, Sr. and Blanche Jordan; and grandsons, Joshua Levon Wilson and Garrett Bradley Powell.
Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Freeland, Coby Powell, Christopher Powell, Warren Boersma, Anthony Griffith, and Harry Gee, Sr. Honorary Heavenly pallbearers are Joshua Levon Wilson and Garrett Bradley Powell.
