Obituary of Catherine Faye Russell

Graveside services for Ms. Catherine Faye Russell are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, March 11, 2021, in Promise Land Cemetery with Bro. Bruce Knight officiating. Services will be under the direction of Golden Funeral Home. Ms. Russell passed away Monday, March 8, 2021, at the age of seventy-six. She was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Ms. Russell also enjoyed playing the piano and was known for being a wonderful cook. Ms. Russell is survived by her two sons, Emmitt Bradley Knight and wife Virginia Bourn, Bruce Landon Knight and wife Christianne Ford; and four grandchildren, Hannah Grace Knight, William Landon Knight, Landon Knight, and Micah Knight. She is preceded in death by her son, David Bryan Knight. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Lagniappe Healthcare for always taking such wonderful care of Ms. Russell.
